Charges won't be brought against officials or agencies responsible for the care of the young woman at the centre of the Grace case, according to the Irish Independent.
The Garda investigation began four years ago after a whistleblower made a formal complaint about the care of Grace.
She was allowed to remain in a foster home in the South East despite concerns about sexual and physical abuse.
Gardaí recommended prosecutions for endangerment and negligence in a file sent to the DPP.
However, according to the Irish Independent it is understood the DPP has now directed no prosecution, and no one will face criminal sanction.
