Well, for one family in Wales, this was more than just an amusing story.
Doorbell footage revealed that a six-year-old border collie named Freya climbed behind the wheel of a jeep Cherokee, colliding with a parked car!
As reported by the dailymail, Sue Brewer told of how her daughter's dog knocked the automatic gearbox into 'drive' – sending the vehicle downhill.
Ms Brewer's partner, Shaun Waller, was working at home when he heard the bang from outside.
Mr Waller quickly discovered, via their doorbell footage, that the culprit was indeed the innocent-looking collie.
The pair has since laughed off the incident and confirmed that Freya is 'absolutely fine' after the crash and remains a 'very good dog'.
We can only imagine that the pooch will have to be content with a place in the backseat for the foreseeable future.
