The Skyscraper singer and former Disney star has announced a global fundraising bid for mental health organisations, including the Irish charity SpunOut.ie.
The Music Icon is aiming to help those struggling with anxiety and depression due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Demi has teamed up with Royal Bank of Canada, Virgin Unite and Draper Richards Kaplan to initiate The Mental Health Fund.
The fund has already raised over €1.8 million globally.
SpunOut welcomes the fundraising support while the organisation has seen 60% increase in requests for general support during the coronavirus pandemic.
Demi Lovato is known to have spoken about her own mental health struggles in the post, combating addiction and eating disorders.
Speaking to Beat News CEO of SpunOut, Ian Power says: "She's a superstar and a lot of young people can relate to her. For her to lead a mental health campaign for SpunOut is incredible."
