The go-ahead has been given for a Compulsory Purchase Order for a Wexford site as part of the new Technological University of the South East.
According to the Wexford People, Wexford County Council has given the green light to proceed with a CPO on a site which will be the new home for the campus.
It's understood that Wexford Fine Gael TD Paul Kehoe said the go-ahead was confirmed to him by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform today.
It's reported the move will see land, around 50 acres from Whiterock Hill to Killeens will be acquired by the local authority.
