A further 788 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Ireland this evening with 17 additional deaths.
In the South East,
Wexford has the highest case figure in the region with 18 new cases followed by 15 in Tipperary.

Waterford has 13 new cases, Carlow has 11 while Kilkenny has 10 new infections.
899 patients are in Irish hospitals with the virus of which 160 are in ICU.
The nationwide 14-day incidence rate has fallen slightly again and now stands at 277.2.
