Court appearances following major Garda operation in Co. Kilkenny

At least 10 people are due before the courts following a major garda operation in County Kilkenny.

27 people were arrested after Gardaí searched 10 premises and set up checkpoints in the Thomastown area of the county yesterday.

Those detained were arrested in relation to theft, assault, fraud, burglary and drugs offences.

2 vehicles were also seized under the Road Traffic Act.
