County Waterford is the most expensive place in the South East to buy a house, according to daft.ie
A new report shows a house in County Waterford will cost €270,000, while a house in the city costs €205,000.
Tipperary is the next cheapest area in the region to buy a home at €208,000, followed by €226,000 in Carlow, €251,000 in Wexford and €261,000 in Kilkenny.
Author of the Daft report, Ronan Lyons, says increases in cities outside Dublin aren't as high as at the start of the pandemic:

"What they had witnessed in the early parts of the pandemic was a significant upward shift in prices, in the middle of 2020."
"That's now fallen out of the year-on-year figures, but it does still point to rising prices in those areas."
