A County Waterford secondary school will feature on RTE's Nationwide tonight.
In 2020, Mount Sion CBS Secondary School in Waterford City became the first school in Ireland to be designated a School of Sanctuary.
It followed an assessment process undertaken by the Places of Sanctuary Ireland charity (PoSI).
According to Schools of Sanctuary Ireland, a School of Sanctuary "welcomes everyone as equal, valued members of the school and the community while developing intercultural awareness through the gradual acquisition of intercultural skills and celebrating all cultures within its community."
Students from Mount Sion CBS will feature on the show from 7pm tonight on RTE 1.
