The remains of a child's body have been located in the back garden of a home in the UK following a week-long search operation.
West Midlands Police had been excavating the garden of a home in Handsworth, Birmingham after receiving a tip-off on the possible death of a child in the area.
It is not yet known how long has passed since the child's death.
A post-mortem is set to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
Two people, a male aged 40 and a 41-year-old woman have appeared in court in connection with the case on charges of neglect and causing or allowing the death of a child.
