Carrick-On-Suir's Bennett wins stage and Roche retains lead at Vuelta a Espana

Sam Bennett has won the third stage of the Vuelta a Espana in his first time competing in the Spanish grand tour.

The Carrick-on-Suir rider claimed the stage victory in a sprint into Alicante.

Fellow Irishman Nicolas Roche retains the leader's red jersey with a two-second lead over Nairo Quintana.
