A journalist from the South East has been thrown out of North Korea for what's being described as 'disgraceful reporting'.
35-year-old Maria Byrne from Tullow in County Carlow was working in the secretive state as she covered the Worker's Party Congress for BBC Asia.
She was arrested along with a fellow journalist and a cameraman as they attempted to leave North Korea on Friday.
It's believed she's now in Beijing in China, after getting in touch with her family.
