Confirming the partnership with Carlow GAA, Dr. Patricia Mulcahy, President of Institute of Technology Carlow said, “Institute of Technology Carlow is delighted to be the new partner of Carlow GAA.
This is a first for us, although our relationship with Carlow GAA and the County Board is already strong and engaged, thanks to our excellent sports faculty which has a great working relationship with the GAA through our BA (Hons) in Business Management & Sports Coaching (GAA).
Over the past ten years, this popular programme has seen many of our graduates work with county boards and teams throughout the country.
Many of our sports students, past and present, combine playing for the Institute with playing for Carlow clubs and, indeed, for their county.
Delighted to be able to release our new @itcarlow GAA jersey for the upcoming 2018 @HigherEdGAA Sigerson & Fitzgibbon cup games. What do you think of that @JoeBrolly1993?? pic.twitter.com/oISvLBIexz

We have invested significantly in our current sports facilities and are poised to begin another capital investment programme with our South Sports Campus this Spring which will deliver additional sports facilities for our student body.
As an Institute, we are committed to education and to being a key driver in the community and Carlow GAA shares these values with us. I can’t think of a more appropriate partnership for Institute of Technology Carlow and look forward to the future.”
