Kildare's Fiona O'Loughlin says the last Friday in November is an institution for children and families all across the country.
She thinks the move would be a TREE-mendous idea.
The Fianna Fáil Senator says "it deserves to be recognised as a festive stand out in the lead up to Christmas."
