There are calls for a stretch of the M7 motorway to be examined to improve road safety.
Concerns are being raised after a spate of crashes in Tipperary in recent weeks.
The issue is being highlighted by local representatives after the recent bad weather.
They want authorities to examine the areas that saw a high number of accidents in the last few weeks.
They are concerned by the large number of accidents that have occurred on the road between Roscrea and Birdhill, as well as Moneygall.
Labour TD Alan Kelly describes the stretch of road he believes needs to be checked:
“It’s obvious that during bad weather, there are additional problems on the road.
“I’m asking the Minister for Transport and Transport Infrastructure Ireland to have a look at that section of the road in particular.”
