The final touches are being put on budget 2023.
A once off €500 payment for carers and people with disabilities has been confirmed.
The entry point for the higher rate of income tax is being raised to €40,000.
The help to buy scheme is being retained for two more years while there will be a double payment of the carers allowance in the coming months.
An electricity credit of €600 will be given to people over three payments.
The final things to be decided include how much social welfare will increase, most likely by €12 across core rates.
The amount of a renters tax credit is likely to be around €400 or €500 euro.
And the rate of an energy support scheme for businesses is still being decided, along with what the Department of Health will do with its budget allocation.
