A vacant Waterford city centre site is soon set to be occupied by The Mountain Warehouse - the largest outdoor chain in the UK.
The lot has been vacant since Sam McCauley's pharmacy closed its doors earlier this year following 18 years of trading at the site.
The Mountain Warehouse, which stocks an array of mountaineering, running, camping and cycling equipment, has over 250 shops in the UK and seven in Ireland.
Fitting works are set to commence in the coming weeks, however, an opening date is uncertain as of yet.
