A fire in Carlow Town has broken out causing low visibility in the area.
The incident is ongoing on the O'Brien road.
Smoke is bellowing from Oglesby and Butler who manufacture, export, and sell gas powered hand tools.
It's understood that the roof has caved in and staff have been evacuated.
Loud banging noises can be heard from the scene and road users are being advised to avoid the area.

Authorities have been notified and 6 units from the Fire Service are on the scene, currently tackling the blaze.
Carlow Fire & Rescue Service are dealing with a 'Six pump fire' at an industrial premises in Carlow Town. The O'Brien road is fully closed and diversion are in place.

No injures have yet been reported and situation is ongoing.
Residents and businesses in the area are being urged to keep their windows and doors closed.

County Council are warning of low water pressure in the area due to supply being diverted for the Carlow Fire Service.
Residents and businesses in Carlow town are being urged to keep their windows and doors closed this afternoon as high levels of smoke lingers.
