The body of a male was recovered in a river in County Wexford earlier today.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at the River Barrow in New Ross at around 1:35 pm this afternoon, where a body was removed.
The male was pronounced deceased at the scene and was taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
