Assault leaves man in hospital

A man has been injured in an assault on Amiens Street in Dublin.

Gardaí say he has been taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries after the attack at around 5am.

There is currently no access on to the quays from Beresford Place and diversions are in place via Talbot Street.

However, the road is due to reopen shortly.
