Gardai in Waterford are looking for witnesses in relation to an armed robbery in the city on New Year's Day.
A lone male entered Reddy's Off Licence, Ballybricken at around 3.15pm and produced some kind of weapon.
He demanded cash and cigarettes from a female staff member.
The suspect was wearing gloves and had a scarf around his face.
He's described as being tall and wearing a white hoody with grey tracksuit bottoms with a local accent.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
Gardai are seeking information from anyone who may have noticed anything around this time in the Ballybricken area.
