The tragic news of 42-year-old's Halyna Hutchins' death became known last week after a firearm was discharged on the set of the film 'Rust'.
After the incident, actor Alec Baldwin took to Twitter to make a statement expressing his deepest sympathies with Halyna's family.
"There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours.
"I'm fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family.
"My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna."
On Saturday, in a video posted by TMZ, Alec and his wife Hilaria went on camera to speak after being followed by 'a swarm of' paparazzi.
The actor addressed the cameras in Manchester, VT, where he and his family have been laying low since the fatal incident.
The family pulled over in the car to confront the photographers with Alec explaining that it's making his children cry and that he can not speak about an active investigation.
The Baldwin family videod the moment after being followed by a group of paparazzi.
"I'm not allowed to make any comments because it's an ongoing investigation," Baldwin told those gathered. "I've been ordered by the Sheriff's Department in Santa Fe. I can't answer any questions about the investigation. I can't."
Both Hilaria and Alec expressed their anger over being followed at such a tragic incident and disbelief that one of the photographers following them couldn't remember Halyna's name.
"Her name is Halyna," Hilaria said. "If you're spending this much time waiting for us you should know her name."
Investigations are ongoing into the death of Halyna Hutchins.
