The best pubs in Ireland have been revealed, after the Irish Pub Awards took place on Wednesday night.
The Reg Waterford has been awarded 'Best Late Night Bar' in Ireland for 2022.
The venue was awarded the title by the Vintners Federation of Ireland and the Licensed Vintners Association.
The award recognises “particular marketing initiatives that reflect the late-night offering and for evidence of a distinguishable offering to attract an audience after normal closing hours”.
The Reg faced tough competition from leading venues in Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Kildare and Leitrim.
General Manager of The Reg, Donal O’Brien, says "this award is dedicated to our amazing staff who have shown such resilience, commitment and professionalism since opening in November 2013 and especially over the past 3 years of immense disruption and change.
"The award is also a recognition of the investment in our wonderful Staff, Live Music 7 nights a week, and continued improvements to the premises, such as the addition of Shush Bar in 2019 and the upgrading of our Roof Terrace in time for the Christmas season."
The Reg say they are looking forward to offering Live Music 7 nights a week over the Festive period and has invested heavily to create the most Christmassy venue in the region where you can enjoy your Christmas Party or catch up with friends and family over November, December and to the end of January.
The Reg is proud to add “Best Late Bar in Ireland 2022” to “Best Place to Live in Ireland 2021”.
