A status yellow wind warning is in place for the whole country this morning.
Storm Franklin is bringing very strong winds with severe damaging gusts, with the alert lasting until 9am.
An orange wind warning for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo will come to an end at 7am.
Mace Head recorded a gust of 139 kilometres an hour yesterday.
