A man was hospitalised after a stabbing in Waterford City yesterday evening.
Just before 5 o’clock Gardaí were called to an assault that happened at a premises on the Carrickpherish Road in Gracedieu.
It’s understood a man in his 30s had received stab wounds.
He was taken to University Hospital Waterford where his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

A second man, in his early 50s, has been arrested in connection with the incident and was taken to Waterford Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
