A man is due before the courts today in connection with the death of John Cash in Kilkenny city.
Mr. Cash who was in his 40's and originally from Clondalkin in Dublin was stabbed during a row on Hebron Road in the city on Tuesday afternoon.
A man in his 20's who was known to the victim was arrested at the scene at questioned at Kilkenny Garda Station.
He's now been charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear before a sitting of Carlow District Court later.
