A man in his 80s has died in a crash in Co Tipperary.
It happened on the M8 between Thurles and Cashel shortly after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
Two cars collided and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The only person in the other car - a woman in her late 30s - was brought to Cork University Hospital, with non life-threatening injuries.
