A 96-year-old woman who battled coronavirus says she 'wasn't going anywhere' because she had 'a few things to sort out'.
Betty Goode returned home to Moyvane in County Kerry after spending two weeks in hospital with Covid-19.
Betty says she was a little worried when she was diagnosed but she did not let it affect her.
“I wasn’t really down, you know.”
She said: “Well if I’ve got it, I’ll get over it. That was it.
“I’m not going anywhere until I’ve sorted a few things out."
Betty said she had lots to sort, including rent to pay and collecting her pension.
