8 men were brought before a special sitting of Carlow District Court today in connection with Operation Clave.
Gardai say they were targeted arrests based on six months of covert operations to crack down on local drug dealers.
7 of those have been released on strict bail conditions but must return to another sitting on January 18th for DPP Selection while 1 has been remanded in custody.
One woman was also arrested, she’s been charged and released on station bail to appear in court at a later date.
