A post mortem is expected to be carried out today on the body of a man killed in a workplace accident in Waterford.
It's understood he fell from a height while working at a cement factory in Ferrybank just after four o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The man - said to be in his 40's was treated at the scene - however he was later pronounced dead.
Two separate investigations have been launched into his death by Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority.

A man has died in a workplace accident in the South East this afternoon.
It is understood that the man fell from a height at a cement plant in Belview Port outside Waterford City earlier this afternoon.
The scene remains sealed off this evening. Gardai from Waterford and the Health & Safety Authority have both launched investigations into the incident. A postmortem is due to take place at University Hospital Waterford.
