Five people have been taken to hospital following a house fire in New Ross, Co. Wexford, yesterday 27th April 2018.
Two adults and three children have been taken to University hospital treated for smoke inhalation.

It's believed that the family was upstairs at a three-story house on Mary Street when the fire first started.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
More details have emerged about the fire which injured five people in new Ross this afternoon.

It's reported that the emergency services were made aware of the situation when a man, who was working on a house next door, saw smoke and flames coming from the house.
(2) He went into house and rescued another man and 3 young children who were in the house; the youngest of whom was 3.

The Call on fire made 3.30pm; fire crews on scene 7 mins later.
In Mary Street house one man (30s) sons 9, 5 and 3 removed. Builder next door had entered house but failed to get occupants out. The 9 year old had alerted fire crews to the 3 year old still inside, then rescued.— Damien Tiernan (@damienwlr) April 27, 2018
