A man in his 20s has been charged with assault causing harm in Waterford District Court.
Niall Hewison, with an address in the Clarinwood area in Tramore Co. Waterford, was arrested at 11.03am this morning at Tramore Garda Station.
Mr. Hewison was arrested by Detective Seargent Shay Keegan at Tramore Garda Station.
An application for bail on a bond of €300 was granted on terms that Mr. Hewison would surrender his passport and not leave the jurisdiction.

Mr. Hewison must also sign on at Tramore Garda Station three times a week and must remain sober at all times.
Mr. Hewison is due before the court again on the 25th July.
A man in his 50s died following an assault in Tramore in the early hours of Saturday morning.
