1,358 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported this evening.
The five-day moving average has risen to 1,578 - which is over 300 higher than at the end of last month.
The counties with the highest incidence rates are Longford, Waterford and Carlow, according to the latest figures.
400 Covid patients are in hospital, up 18 from yesterday, with 75 in intensive care, up one.
