The Talbot Hotel Collection has announced the addition of the Stonebridge building in Wexford Town to it's hotel portfolio.
With 73 apartments in the building, the Talbot has revealed creating an Aparthotel on Paul's Quay in the town.
The announcement will create 30 full-time jobs, bringing the total employment across the group to 630
Managing Director of the group and Philip Gavin told Beat News it's an exciting development:
"Stonebridge is made up of retail and residential with 73 apartments. The apartments were built in 2008 and have yet to have been used."
"They're built to a very high standard with absolutely views to Wexford Harbour and beyond and we intend to incorporate them into what's called an Aparthotel" he added.
The Tramore native went on to describe how the rooms will be laid out:
"They will be from 1 bed to 3 bed apartments varying in sizes from 70 square metres to 150 square metres, they will be the penthouses."
He added "These will be provided to the market as self catering, but they will also have the benefit of being serviced, so they will also have all the services you would associate with a hotel."
An additional 40 jobs will be created during the renovation phase of the building, with the official opening set for early Summer of 2016.
