Polling stations across the South East have opened as voting in the general election - to elect the 32nd Dáil - gets underway.
Here in the region 58 candidates are battling it out for 19 seats.
In Wexford 17 candidates are running for 5 seats.
In Waterford 12 candidates are running for 4 seats.
In Carlow/Kilkenny 15 candidates are running for 5 seats.
In Tipperary 14 candidates are running for 5 seats.
Nationwide over 550 candidates will contest 157 Dáil seats.
3-point-2 million of us are entitled to vote if on the electoral or supplementary register and are an Irish or British citizen.
Over 80,000 young people registered last year to vote in the marriage referendum.
While a nationwide survey earlier this week revealed 80% of young people intend to vote today.
