365 new cases of Covid-19 as 70% of all cases now the Delta strain

There are 365 new cases of Covid-19 around the country.

51 patients are in hospital with the virus - which is the highest in two weeks - with 14 in intensive care.

The Chief Medical Officer says over 70% of all cases are now the Delta variant.

But Dr Tony Holohan says those who are fully vaccinated should feel comfortable meeting other fully vaccinated people in all settings.
