36 people have been stopped by Gardai in an operation targeting the demand for prostitution; including in Wexford

36 people have been stopped by Gardai in an operation targeting the demand for prostitution.

They were stopped following a number of operations in Dublin, Wexford, Louth and Kildare.

Gardai say the individuals were spoken to on suspicion of having purchased sexual services.

A number of files have been prepared for the DPP.
