A 28 year old man has been charged in connection with an assault causing serious injury in Waterford on Monday.
Michael Stokes of 92 Clonard, Ballybeg, Waterford was charged assault causing harm at Waterford District Court this morning.
He was arrested yesterday morning in connection with an assault on 20 year old Dean Flynn from Crystal Court, in Kilcohan who suffered severe hand injuries after being attacked with a blade at Priory Lawn in Ballybeg.
He's currently being treated in Cork University Hospital.
