School leavers and mature students across the region are being reminded of the CAO deadline on February 1st.
There are a number of restricted courses that can't be added after Monday.
One of those courses is the BA in Music at WIT.
Dr Hazel Farrell from WIT explained the situation to Beat News:
'The reason it's restricted entry is the nature of the course'
'You will have to come and audition with us and that's in the first week of April, and bascially you will play two contrasting pieces of your chosen instrument or your voice.
'We have lots of pop vocalists, rock vocalists, we've got rock, jazz, pop guitars, bass guitars, a whole variety of instruments'
'You will do also do an aural test, just a little ear test, for us and you will do some written exercises as well.'
