Gardaí in Waterford are investigating an armed robbery in the city.
Two men entered Barrack Street Post Office yesterday afternoon at around ten past three.
One of the men approached the counter and produced a gun and brown paper bag demanding money.
Staff activated panic alarms and closed their tills before retreating to the back office.

The Suspect then turned the gun on a customer and attempted to take her handbag.
Both men fled the post office in the direction of Hennessy's road.
No one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí have since located a vehicle believed to be involved in the robbery.

A 36 year old man was arrested in the Ardkeen and is being detained at Waterford Garda Station.
