Met Eireann is predicting more heavy rain will hit the country over the next few days.
A report in today's Irish Independent says a "significant amount of rain" will fall between today and the weekend,.
The good news is there are no rainfall warnings announced just yet, but there is a risk to areas that are still flooded in the aftermath of Storm Frank.
It will be mild and cloudy today with temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees, before persistent rain hits the South East this evening and all of tomorrow.
