816 jobs have been announced by EY.
The roles will be based across its seven offices throughout the country, with 16 new jobs created for its Waterford office.
The jobs will be filled over the next year and will include 414 experienced hires and 402 will be graduate roles across Ireland.
EY Ireland said increasing demand for its services and fundamental changes brought about by the pandemic, was key to its decision to expand.
Frank O’Keeffe, Managing Partner, EY Ireland said a significant number of the roles will be based outside Dublin
"One in four of the jobs we are adding are from outside of Dublin, but we are also adding new areas to our business like law, data analytics, cyber security, and data consulting."
