NPHET has reported 1,470 new cases of Covid-19 this afternoon.
It's up 326 on yesterday's figure.
As of midnight, Monday 6th September, we are reporting 1,470* confirmed cases of #COVID19.

The five-day average has fallen to 1,382 - which 16% less than a week ago.
Monaghan, Donegal, Cavan and Leitrim have the highest 14-day incidence rates in the country.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says hospitals are at risk of becoming Covid hotspots, due to overcrowding and poor ventilation.
Meanwhile, 56% of 12 to 15-year-olds have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says 1% are fully vaccinated.

73% of 16 and 17-year-olds have had one dose - with 52% fully vaccinated.
Almost 6.94 million jabs have been administered in Ireland so far.
