The death of a boy following an incident at a school in County Kilkenny is being treated as a 'tragic accident' by Gardai.
It happened yesterday, the 13-year-old child was transferred to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he later died.
RTE News reports that the young boy was hit by a sliotar.
Gardaí have told Beat News that investigations are ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
