A further 1,247 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Ireland this evening with 15 additional deaths.
In the South East,
Waterford has recorded the highest case figure in the region with 56 new cases of the virus.
Carlow has 36, Tipperary has 24, Kilkenny has 16 while Wexford has 7 new infections.

As of 2pm today, 1,516 COVID-19 patients are in Irish hospitals, of which 211 are in ICU while there was 39 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours
