The country will face plummeting temperatures tonight.
It's set to be the most severe night of the current cold spell, with minus 10 degrees possible in some areas.
A Status Orange warning for low temperatures and ice comes into affect for 19 counties at six o'clock.
Another Status Orange warning has been issued for Thursday night and concerns 25 counties, including all five counties in the region; Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary - with Donegal the only exception.

The warning adds to an existing Status Yellow weather alert for low temperatures for Wexford and Waterford until Friday. Met Éireann says it will remain "very cold through the week with widespread sharp to severe frosts and icy stretches.
"Some showers of hail, sleet and snow will occur, mainly near coasts. Accumulations at lower levels are expected to remain low. Freezing fog will occur at times, with winds remaining light over land."
