Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for high temperatures.
The forecaster is saying Ireland will experience a hot spell from Sunday and into early next week.
Day time temperatures will widely reach the high twenties, possibly exceeding 30 degrees in some locations.

Met Eireann is also warning that it will remain uncomfortably warm overnight.
The warning is in place until next Wednesday.
Professor of Health Systems at DCU Anthony Staines has this advice:
"Keep cool, wear light clothes and stay indoors as much as you can.
"Keep a substantial fluid intake, you should be drinking more than you think you need.
"Keep an eye out for people around you, keep an eye on elderly neighbours or people with a chronic illness."
