Over 100 workers are taking strike action in Gorey Co Wexford today.
The action is being held at St. Aidan's Day Care Centre which cars for people with intellectual disabilities.
Four separate 24-hour work stoppages are planned at the centre over the next month in protest at the non-payment of salary increments.
More talks will be held at the Workplace Relations Commission tomorrow, but today's scheduled strike is going ahead as planned.
