A 10 year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after he fell off his bike following a collision with a jeep in Co. Waterford.
The incident happened between 6:00pm and 6:30pm yesterday evening in the Feddans area of Carrick-on-Suir.
He received a head injury in the accident, but remained conscious.
The services of Rescue 117 - based in Waterford - were called upon to transfer the boy to hospital in Cork as a precaution.
