A further 10 people have been arrested in the south east today under Operation Clave.
One woman and nine men were arrested by Gardai in the Kilkenny/Carlow division.
The operation got underway at midday when up to 50 Gardai were briefed by Superintendent Redmond at Carlow Garda Station.
The aim of the operation was to search, arrest and detain targets from Carlow who had been identified during the Test Purchasing Operation which was conducted by members from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
All ten arrested have been detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1997 at Carlow, Thomastown and Kilkenny Garda Stations.
Fourteen premises across County Carlow were searched, during the course of a search at John Sweeney Park, Carlow, Gardaí seized Cannabis with an estimated street value of €3,000. A firearm (Pistol), a Stun Gun and pepper spray were seized in a separate search.
Over the past two days in Carlow/Kilkenny 34 people have been arrested for drug related charges.
