A further 679 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Ireland with 1 additional death.
In the South East,
Tipperary has the highest case figure in the region with 29 new infections followed by 23 in Waterford.

Kilkenny has 15, Carlow has 9 while Wexford has less than 5 new cases.
744 Covid-19 patients are in Irish hospitals, of which 148 are in ICU.
